Experience Design - Educational Garden
Project objectives
The main goal of the project was to create an engaging and educating garden experience for local communities visiting the mall, and attracting new customers.
My Role
As an experience design lead on this project, I was responsible for conducting trend research, creating an experience strategy, conceptualising, providing design directions, and managing the visualisation of the garden.
Design Process
The insights collected during the research phase were applied in the creation of the experience journey map, and as a baseline for ideation and the conceptualisation of the educational garden.
Experience Journey
The experience journey map was created to show the customer actions and emotions, as well as all relevant interactions and dependencies.
Conceptualisation
After brainstorming and ideation, sketches were created showing different layouts and experiences in the educational garden.
Visualisation
Visualisations of the garden were produced in fine detail, before it was signed off for production.
Key metrics
A number of unique daily visitors.
An average time spent in the garden.
A number of registered daily class attendees.
A number of social media posts with given hashtags.
