OVERVIEW
Project Objectives
To provide users with an engaging, personalised and convenient video diary app to record their life events. This app is aiming to help users to overcome the issue of discipline and time required for keeping a diary.
My Role
As a product designer on this app project, I was responsible for the full end to end product design, including ideation, user research, proposition validation, prototyping, and creation of all final design assets.
DESIGN PROCESS
User centred design process was applied throughout the project. User research was conducted, and the customer journey map was created for design guidance. All designs were user tested.
Discovery research
An online survey was carried out to understand people’s current diary habits, and their expectations for the video diary.
Competitor analysis was conducted to discover the competitive diary features, business models and overall experiences.
